When you move around a lot, like most people in Philly do, you tend to lose things. Like tapes for your car- I don't seem to have that many tapes anymore. So I listen to the radio a lot, and most of the stations are crap and all the classic rock stations play the same damn three Zepplin songs, but overall I don't mind listening to the radio. It works well for my attention deficit mind.
One thing I noticed is that the Derek and the Dominos song "Layla" (aka Mr. Eric fake blues Clapton) is frequently played, BUT- and I cross my heart on this one- I never hear the first part of the song. Now, I've heard the song in it's entirety once, but that was a good seven or eight years ago. And I'm not talking about the unplugged version either- this baby is the 8 minute one (or however ungodly long it is). I have yet to catch the begining part, and it's pissing me off. Because I like that song, and as nice and relaxing as that last instrumental part is, the beginning is a crucial part to the song. Therefore my enjoyment is only partial, and that totally ruins my driving experience.
Some people get burned up about big things. I'm not one of those people.
